When:  MAY 3, 2006
Where: COMMUNITY CENTER (24 North 300 West)
Time:  6:30PM-8:30PM

Program and Participating Agencies

The Bear River Association of Governments (BRAG) is a voluntary association of local governments in Box Elder, Cache, and Rich Counties.  The association was formed in 1971 to address problems that extend beyond traditional jurisdictional boundaries and affect the entire tri-county region.  BRAG was also designed to eliminate duplication of effort and to provide a stronger role for local government officials in planning, coordinating and administering state and federal programs at the local level.

Along with its involvement in community development, economic development and planning, BRAG delivers a wide range of services primarily to lower income individuals and families in the tri-county area.  At the May 3 town meeting, BRAG staff will explain the HUD funded rental assistance program, first time home buyers, home repair and rehabilitation loans and grants, the HEAT program and others.
