Scott Ericson was appointed to the Brigham City Council in April of 2007 and was subsequently elected to a 2 year term on the council. He is excited to continue working to maintain the rich heritage for which Brigham City is known. Scott is currently employed by Congressman Rob Bishop and is responsible for maintaining relationships between the Congressional office and cities and counties throughout northern Utah. He also works with federal agencies on behalf of constituents when problems arise. Scott has been heavily involved in Republican politics at both the state and local level. He is currently serving as the Box Elder County Republican Chairman.

Scott was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and attended Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. While at Snow, he met and married Karen Wright. Following their marriage, the Ericsons returned to Salt Lake City as Scott completed two Bachelor's Degrees from the University of Utah in Political Science and Public Relations. The Ericsons have 2 beautiful little girls and are excited to continue to raise their family in Brigham City
